On Quantum Pendant (an alternative effort)

God works in the most mysterious ways! One of the ways is through friendships, where we found some of the miracles.

I could still remember the moment I looked down under my seat in husband's car, trying to search for something. Suddenly, I grabbed 2 classical CDs which belongs to husband's superior. She is a Chinese. She suggested us to play the musics to Syafiah to stimulate her hearing. At the same time, there are several studies saying that the classical musics can possibly make babies smarter. Remember the Mozart effects?

The other day, when my husband has to work on Saturday, another friend gave him a pendant. To be specific a QUANTUM PENDANT. They both have to work at a booth in PKNS. And again, she is a Chinese too. Mind you, my husband's company doesn't have many non-bumi workers. If there are, they'd stay loyal to the company. Most of bumis do the same too.

She lends us this quantum pendant for Syafiah. She wears another one on herself. Every quantum pendant has its own individual serial no. and is part of a LIMITED SERIES. If we want to buy, my hubby told me the cost would be around RM500/piece. Kopak makcik oiii! *selalu betul dapat benda free ni, alhamdulillah*

From FusionExcel's website:

FusionExcel’s Quantum Pendant is made from natural minerals that are fused and structurally bonded together at a molecular level. It produces scalar energy that helps to enhance the body’s biofield. The Quantum Pendant promotes positive flow of energy and helps to maintain energy balance. It helps to restore energy that has become weak in the body. By restoring the energy balance in the body this pendant helps one to maintain health and well-being.

Usage
Wear it on a chain or carry it in your pocket. The scalar energy from the pendant works outwardly and within the body. Out¬wardly scalar energy enhances the body’s biofield. Inwardly it works to facilitate cell permeability and thereby enhances the many physiological functions of the cells in the body.

Health Benefits
- Reduces inflammation
- Promotes unclumping of cells

You can read the testimonials here. Amongst the users are Shalin Zulkifli, Foo Kok Keong, Bernard Khoo (Zorro Unmasked), Marina Lee Abdullah (RPK's wife), Haris Ibrahim (People's Parliament), Rexy Mainaky, Susi Susanti, Karamjit Singh, etc.

Syafiah wore it for the 1st time at Jiehan's wedding reception on Sunday. Today for an experiment, I soaked it in the water for almost an hour and brought the basin to mom for her to soak her feet. She has terrible 'sakit kaki' due to aging. She said that she could feel like electrical wave in the water. Like you are doing your foot massage using an electrical foot reflexology. That's the way, she described it. That rasa of merenyam-renyam! I'll be doing this for one week and will monitor my mom's achievement. If rasi, I think of buying one for her!

According to my husband, that's the right way to do it. Soak it or put it under a bottle of water, then later use the water for half an hour or you can even drink it! Tonight, he'll be joining the speech about FusionExcel's products at Jalan 222, PJ. Another products are quantum watch, quantum bracelet (bang... belikan kat I bleh? huhu), quantum spa, quantum water, etc.

InsyaAllah, hopefully Syafiah will join the success stories list. Ameen...

p/s : I believe that everything that Allah swt has created in this world has benefits. Even a stone, even a rock, even a sand... We're just doing our part. Utilize things surround us! God works in the most mysterious ways, who know what will be in our ways, rite?

The classical musics for download

Johann Strauss II

I'm proudly (cewahhh... riak pulak) announce that I've accomplished my mission! You can grab the musics on the top of blog's sidebar. List of songs are from my CD - Mozart for children. Boleh kata semua lagu dalam tu sedap di halwa telinga saya ni. Oh ya.. untuk share apa saja fail di internet, bolehlah mencuba 4shared.com.

I'm spoiled by many more websites. For instant, at these 3 websites - Piano Society - Free Classical Musics (check for recordings), Classical Cat - the free classical catalogue and Avi Avital. Spoiled with a lot of choices.

Tips nak pilih lagu? Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Schubert, Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Bizet, Boccherini, Vivaldi, Dvorak, Ponchielli dan Paganini antara komposer yang saya pernah dengar genre² mereka. Genre yang sedap untuk didengari. Lagi satu cuba pilih lagu yang ada perkataan 'symphony' atau 'allegro' (the musical tempo meaning "quick and lively" or, literally, "cheerful").

Entah kenapa saya kalo dengar muzik ni sambil berdiri mahu saja kaki terus menari. Ada la belajar sket² tarian waltz dan yang tak formal tu tengok So You Think You Can Dance la.. hahaha... udah²nya menari ikut suka hati. Kalo dengo muzik ni karang nescaya korang akan ingat lagu² latar di tv atau drama. Turun naik tempo muzik klasik menambahkan lagi seni lagu² tersebut. Mungkin ada saja waktu korang akan terkejut...

Jadi apa tunggu lagi... zasss... layanzzz!

Another classical CD

I bought this CD for my little daughter recently when we're back to our hometown. A good thing is even though it is 'Mozart' but it's a mixed CD. Among my favorite are Voice of Spring (Strauss II), Fur Elise (Beethoven), Habanera (From Carmen)(Bizet) and Dance of the Swans (From Swan Lake)(Tchaikovsky). She has few therapy sessions. Sounds therapy (untuk mak dia jugak ni! Hehehe) in the morning and motor skills therapy during afternoon (kadang² skip juga.. bad me!).

I also bought a soft toy for her. An 'elephant'! Stimulasi tanpa sedar. Gajah ini juga berbunyi! Good for her left ear.

p/s : Syafiah rasa insecure dengan orang asing even her own auntie... Semalaman naik keta dia dok di baby seat belakang bersama dengan Mak Ngah dia. Mata asyik celik je... takut nak tido gamaknya!

Mozart effect and addiction to classical musics

Have you ever heard of Mozart effect? Firstly, Mozart's full name is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He's one of the greatest composers ever who died on Dec. 5, 1791. The myth says that he died of poisoning. Contemporary research has concluded that Mozart probably died of the effects of a bloodletting administered to counter acute rheumatic fever. And he almost certainly knew that the Requiem, which he had worked on the night of his death, had been commissioned by Count Franz von Walsegg-Stuppach, who wanted to pass it off as his own. 'No Hint of Poisoning'

From Wiki:

The Mozart effect can refer to:

- A set of research results that indicate that listening to Mozart's music may induce a short-term improvement on the performance of certain kinds of mental tasks known as "spatial-temporal reasoning;"[1]

- Popularized versions of the theory, which suggest that "listening to Mozart makes you smarter", or that early childhood exposure to classical music has a beneficial effect on mental development;

- A trademark for a set of commercial recordings and related materials, which are claimed to harness the effect for a variety of purposes. The trademark owner[2] claims benefits far beyond improving spatio-temporal reasoning or raising intelligence, defining the mark as "an inclusive term signifying the transformational powers of music in health, education, and well-being."

This is what was written in New York Times - Composing Concertos in the Key of Rx:

REMEMBER the Mozart Effect? As propounded by the news media, the message was that listening to Mozart made children smarter. The science was full of holes, but the notion appealed, and a growing body of research has since suggested that music, classical music in particular, is somehow good for us. The field is still short on evidence, but it has started a lively conversation between scientists and other experts.

However, personally, I love to hear Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Tchaikovsky and Strauss (there are films about this composer and brothers. The most famous song is Blue Danube). I've all the cassettes and CDs until someone borrowed them and never return. So, when husband's boss lent us her classical CDs, it was such a bless! Sooth my addiction on classical/instrumental musics, even though they are meant for Syafiah. Tapi tak le sampai obses!

I can hear the musics for hours! Even on a bike! Masa praktikal dulu saya praktikal di Klang. Everyday without fail saya akan bawa basikal dari Kg Jawa ke Taman Eng Ann. The road are damn busy, might be one of the busiest towns in Malaysia. One must have item in the basket was a walkman. Dedolu populer dengan walkman la. Mana ada CD segala macam sekarang. Bila dengar muzik klasik ni tak sedo pun sebenarnya tengah dok kayuh basikal kat bandar sibuk ni.

Along the way, I'll play either the above musical streams or Kitaro/Kenny G/Vanessa Mae. Not to forget Richard Clayderman. Love the way he remixed the Fur Elise by Beethoven. La ni ada Maxim plak... fuhh!

But try to listen to these boys' sounds when they're reciting Quran... sedapnya.. oh no! Indah is the best word. Their parents must be proud of them! Ok... satu hafiz in the making insyaAllah ada dalam rumah kami. Mana tau Adam (Syafiah ayah dia kata jadi doktor neuro.. ameennn!)...:
