We're home!

Hari ni muka dah tak lemau lagi! Yay!

This time just like the previous in October. The specialists were really satisfied with her condition, thus, they let her go. Me too. Remember that "I feel good" feelings? I guess, they shared the same feelings with me. Just pray that she'll use the brand new shunt for years to come... ameen.

And I forgot about the discharge summary again! Grrrr!

Let me share you the photos:

Macam gambar resume je ni? Tapi apesal bagi kembang hidung tu?

Macam pura² tidur je ni? "Ibu, jangan le usik saya lagi!"

She's gaining weight... thank God

Anyone remember about this boy? As promised, I'm adding him in this entry. He's Sridar Rao, the one who has hydrocephalus with spina bifida. He has been in the ward for 2 months and glad that he's going home today too! Reason being warded - infection, I mean he was, not the shunt.

He loves to smile especially to nurses, his mom, the doctors or anyone who wears white shirt. He's an Indian boy who didn't understand Tamil when he was brought to his home for the first time!

This guy just really love to be in 8C (but I really hope that he won't return there as frequent as 2008. Can you believe it was the 9th?).

And also this guy - Teoh Hock Wei. He started to re-join on Tuesday, 13th after returning to his home on 3rd. Before this, he's in the ward for 25 days! Managed to be in the house only 10 days. Reason to return - vomiting continuously. I'm afraid that the shunt is malfunction too as it is one of the symptoms.

My husband took us a bit late around 7.30 pm. Blame it to the traffic congestion. I tried to call him around 5.30 pm but he's not around. Cuak juga. But later when we met, he said he has a meeting with his superior. Something about his appraisal for 2008. Something good perhaps will come in our way. He's serving the company for almost 6 years, a company that really cares about the staffs' and families' welfare.

God has always been there for me and family, and yet sometimes I just become greedy and ask for more. So ungrateful! Alhamdulillah Ya Allah... thanks for all the 'nikmat' you've given us especially for the born and the living of our miracle - Syafiah.

p.s. : Actually I want to make an entry about the Palestinian children with these photos but this M thing keeps haunting me. Look at our children, they are so blessed with peace. There? They're trying to fight for their lives everyday, with some have gone to heaven. We're simply that lucky! Pray that the same thing won't happen to our children in future or forever.

Oh I am so pleased to hear that she is home!!! Wonderful news ;-). Enjoy! There's nothing better than being away from hospitals and back to some sort of 'normal'.

And I was nodding my head as I read your comment about Palestine. I too have been wanting to write a post about the situation there. It is so terribly, terribly sad to hear of little children losing their lives so pointlessly and makes me feel so lucky that we live in a safe, secure place. I hope that there will now be peace in Gaza.

Kasihan dengan anak² di Palestin, bukan.. Negara mereka tidak aman. Rasa seakan mahu membawa mereka pulang ke negara kita. I wonder if we're in their shoes...
