Kentang : Sedikit info dan resepi...

Semalam dalam dok pening kepala tu saya sempat SMS cik somi.

SMS pertama : abang tolong belikan kentang + keju cheddar... tq!
SMS kedua : kentang tu beli 1 kg
SMS ketiga : tambah sket.. susu segar
Dia balas : Okey (jawapan lelaki berkahwin yang tipikal)

Projek pun bermula tengahari tadi lepas Mastura balik dari sekolah.


1 cawan keju cheddar yang diparut, 1 cawan susu segar/rendah lemak dan seangkatan dengannya, 1/2 cawan mentega, lada hitam berperisa secukup rasa (lada hitam saja + garam pun tak pe)

1+ kg kentang tu rebus sampai empuk. Lepas empuk, masa tengah panas tu campur terus dengan bahan² kat atas akan menghasilkan rupanya begini:



Lepas tu si Mastura dan Adam pun beria-ia makan mende alah ni:



Tak sempat pakai baju pun pakcik ni.

Kalau suka bolehlah buat gravy dia. 2 sudu besar mentega dicairkan atas api yang kecil (tambah minyak sket sebab tak nak bagi hangit). 3 sudu besar tepung jagung bancuh dengan sedikit air, kiub ayam dan lada hitam. Lepas tu masukkan ke dalam mentega tadi. Kacau jangan bagi berketul.



Syafiah tak nak makan sebab dia dah makan awal. Bila diberi siap nak muntah lagi. Bila dia kenyang tak de benda lainlah dia buat selain main atau:



Sebenarnya seperti kebanyakan makanan karbohidrat yang lain kecuali nasi, kentang juga mengeluarkan gas (baca selanjutnya di sini). p.s. : Tak sedo diri kan saya ni. Dah la baru baik pening, buat smashed potato lagi. Duhhh! Semalam siap muntah lagi sebab angin dah naik ke kepala. Tapi sedap tau smashed potato ni, mungkin sebab letak susu + keju... ada rasa lain sket.

i selalu buat gini ala2 nak buat shepard's pie..memula masak mince beef/sosej dgn celery & kacang pis. curah dlm conning. then top dgn mash potato tu (my mash potato lebih jahat coz i pakai double cream instead of susu, naya laki ku yg tgh diet tu). then tabur grated cheese. pastu masuk dlm oven or microwave 5-10mins nak bg cheese cair or garing skit.

ni la masakan malas ku di musim winter. i laki bini boleh makan, anak pun boleh makan gak. hehehe..

we all potato tak berangin sgt, tp kalau sweet potato tu mmg la berangin..anak dara i selambe aje kentut2 pastu..mak dia nak join, tp control ayu aa..

Sue, leh cuba sbb tak penah tpikir nak wat camni ..kentang asyik2 goweng bulat2 jer cam fries..

Rajin tul carik info..useful tul bagi owg cam kita yg 'M' sket tang tu..
